Description
A modern interpretation of a mid century buffet as resulted in the Hewlett. A pair of cupboards realised on an open stand will give an edge to a contemporary room. The detail is well resolved and the proportions are perfect.

I’m a fan of this greyed-oak buffet because its mixed-metal detailing and subtle glazing bring texture without overpowering a room. It sits equally well in a contemporary dining area or a classic living space, thanks to its clean lines and neutral finish. Practically, it offers ample storage for tableware or media gadgets, while the raised plinth keeps it feeling light.
For styling, I’d centre a slim mirror or a piece of simple artwork above, then balance one side of the top with a low-profile lamp and the other with a small cluster of ceramics or a sculptural bowl. Inside, use matching baskets or fabric boxes to keep linens and clutter organised.
