The Hawford kitchen table is based on a design used by William's family for two generations. The design has been modified so the table extends. Image shows table extended. Extended size: 355cm x 110cm x 76cm.

I’m a fan of the Hawford table for its sturdy trestle base and pale greyed-oak finish, which bring warmth without dominating the room. It sits equally well in a pared-back Scandinavian scheme or a relaxed country kitchen, and its generous proportions make it ideal for family meals or entertaining.
To style it, keep centrepieces simple: a low ceramic bowl of seasonal fruit or a pair of sculptural vases look fresh against the wood grain. Mix seating - think upholstered benches at one side and slim metal-framed chairs at either end - to create an informal, collected look. A natural-fibre runner or placemats will add texture and protect the surface without obscuring the table’s clean lines.
