Inspired by a mid-century table owned by William, The Bastian End table is also a nod to the neoclassical. We have redesigned it for contemporary use in an antiqued bronze finish with just the right amount of matt gilding and with a mirrored top for a sophisticated and glamorous look.

I particularly rate the Bastian side table for its slim, gilded frame and mirrored top - it brings a touch of light and reflection without feeling bulky. Its subtle bamboo motif works well in both classic and contemporary settings, from Art Deco-inspired lounges to more pared-back, Scandi-influenced spaces.
For styling, keep it simple: a small ceramic vase or sculptural object paired with a neat stack of hardbacks looks crisp, while a low-slung table lamp adds warmth and function. Position it beside an armchair or sofa in neutrals or deep jewel tones to let the gold finish really sing.
