Inspired by a mid-century table owned by William, The Bastian Console table is also a nod to the neoclassical. We have redesigned it for contemporary use in an antiqued bronze finish with just the right amount of matt gilding and with a mirrored top for a sophisticated and glamorous look.

I’m a fan of the Bastian console’s slender gilt-effect frame and clear glass top - it feels light in the space yet brings a touch of refined glamour. Its clean lines and subtle bamboo motif make it equally at home in contemporary, mid-century or more traditional settings.
Styling-wise, keep the surface uncluttered: a sculptural vase or a small stack of design books alongside a compact lamp. In an entrance hall, pair it with a large wall mirror to bounce light and create the illusion of space, and use a decorative tray for keys or post to stay organised without losing the table’s elegant simplicity.
