Our Stylist Says
This bed frame’s plush velvet finish and deep black hue make it a sophisticated choice for contemporary and luxe interiors. I love its bold yet elegant presence, which can anchor a minimalist space or add a touch of opulence to a more eclectic scheme. It works particularly well in rooms that feature neutral colour palettes, metallic accents, or marble detailing, allowing the fabric’s texture to stand out. For styling tips, consider pairing it with layered bedding in rich, contrasting textures like silk or linen, and add bedside lighting with sleek modern fixtures to enhance its modern look. To keep the aesthetic clean and inviting, opt for minimal accessories, and position it against a feature wall for maximum impact.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
