An ornate nineteenth-century 'Bird' pattern from iconic designer William Morris. Designed in 1878, Morris used a version of this print when decorating the drawing room at his home, Kelmscott House, London. Made in the UK, this reproduction print is presented glazed with a window mount and framed, ready to hang on your wall. A pioneer of the Victorian Arts and Crafts movement, William Morris is recognised by his use of intricate patterns and rich colour. By taking ordinary objects and adding intricate decoration, he turned them into works of art. His work profoundly influenced Victorian décor and is still seen across the UK today.
