The design is based on the natural willow form which was one of William Morris’ favourite motifs. Originally designed by William Morris as a wallpaper in 1887 and adapted for fabric in 1895, it was block printed in a diagonal branch pattern at Merton Abbey and combines abstraction with a gentle reminder to the outdoors. Pairing iconic William Morris patterns with excellent British manufacturing, our Made to Measure service brings you a selection of beautiful William Morris At Home designs, with exclusive colourways to Dunelm, allowing you to create a uniquely individual look in your home. Available in a range of headers and colourways, the Willow Bough Sheer Made to Measure voile curtains features the iconic Willow Bough design. This voile's subtle pattern and colour ways along with its soft, delicate fabric makes it a beautiful addition to modern and traditional interior styles. Made from recycled polyester, the fabric is lightweight and durable making it ideal for allowing the filtration of natural light and providing privacy without obscuring your view. The fabric also provides an airy, and spacious feel. Tailored by our experts to your window dimensions and preferred header type, use this voile alone for a minimalist look or layer with blackout curtains or blinds for enhanced light control. Order a free sample to explore this fabric in closer detail or book an appointment with one of our expert consultants for guidance around creating a bespoke look with the Willow Bough voile.

Our Stylist Says

I love these William Morris at Home curtains for their classic, timeless design and the light, breezy quality of the voile fabric. They work particularly well in interiors that favour a traditional or cottage feel, adding soft elegance without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include pairing them with heavier drapes for a layered look, or keeping them sheer like this for maximum natural light and a fresh atmosphere. They're also versatile enough to complement both neutral palettes and more colourful schemes, making them a great choice for living rooms, bedrooms, or even dining areas where you want a touch of pattern and texture without compromising brightness.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.

More than Just Products...A Personal Touch

With a whopping 177 stores across the UK, Dunelm isn't just about selling items; it's about crafting experiences. Many of their stores come with cosy Pausa cafes, offering a space to relax and refuel.

And if you've ever felt like joining a community, they've got dedicated Facebook groups for each store locality. It's not just about buying a product; it's about being part of the Dunelm family. Their online platform seamlessly complements their in-store experience, promising product availability and varied delivery options.

They've placed a solid emphasis on making responsible, long-term decisions that prioritise our environment and cherish future relationships.

85% of their growth over the past five years is credited to market share gains, underscoring their commitment to sustainability and quality.
