The design is based on the natural willow form which was one of William Morris’ favourite motifs. Originally designed by William Morris as a wallpaper in 1887 and adapted for fabric in 1895, it was block-printed in a diagonal branch pattern at Merton Abbey and combines abstraction with a gentle reminder to the outdoors. The William Morris Willow Bough Embroidery Made to Measure curtain gently brings the outdoors in. Showcasing an iconic motif of willow branches, the design is embroidered onto natural fabric giving you a handcrafted, elegant look. Available in calming colourways exclusive to Dunelm, the design complements modern and timeless decors. It's ideal for bringing subtle pattern and colour into your space without overwhelming it. Crafted from a blend of polyester and cotton, this curtain has a luxuriously smooth finish and is highly durable giving you lasting quality over time. Select your preferred colourway and create a look that is distinctly yours with this beautiful fabric.**Our Made to Measure service**Choose from a selection of lining and header types to customise these curtains to your needs. Complete the look and pair these curtains with coordinating tiebacks, cushion covers, and roman blinds. If your measured width is over 124cm your curtains will come with a fabric join to provide the full width required.

Our Stylist Says

I love how these William Morris curtains bring a classic, timeless feel to a space, thanks to the beautiful embroidered botanical pattern. They work exceptionally well in both traditional and vintage-inspired interiors, adding a touch of heritage charm, but can also complement more modern settings when paired with sleek furniture. For styling, consider pairing them with neutral walls to let the intricate embroidery stand out, or add coordinating cushions and accessories in earthy tones for a cohesive look. Practical tips include using a good-quality blackout lining if you're after better light control and privacy, and hanging them on a substantial curtain pole to showcase their crafted design.
