The original pattern took several days to print using hand-carved woodblocks to build up the different colours, and ‘Strawberry Thief’ was consequently one of Morris’s firm’s most expensive cottons. Designed in 1883, Strawberry Thief remains one of William Morris’s most popular and iconic designs. Showcasing this beautiful design, this Made to Measure roller blind is available in multiple colourways to suit your decor. Made from blackout lined polyester, it also offers complete light blocking and privacy making this blind a practical and stylish addition to your room.**Our Made to Measure service**Pairing this iconic William Morris pattern with excellent British manufacturing, our Made to Measure service brings this exclusive collaboration so you can create a bespoke look in your home, office, or commercial space. Create a standout statement with this beautiful roller blind or complete the look by pairing it with coordinating Made to Measure curtains, roman blinds, cushions, and tiebacks. For a tailored finish, select your size, fitting type, chain side, chain colour, and roll direction. For further guidance on how to create your custom roller blind or style this range, book an appointment with one of our expert consultants. Please note, our no‑Drill bracket is made to hold roller blinds up to their recommended maximum weight (maximum width 180cm, maximum drop 220cm). To ensure long-lasting performance, we advise against usage beyond normal everyday operation.
Our Stylist Says
I love this William Morris at Home blind for its classic yet vibrant design, making it a versatile choice for both traditional and contemporary interiors. The Strawberry Thief pattern adds a touch of timeless charm, while the blackout feature makes it practical for bedrooms or living rooms needing controlled lighting. It works particularly well in spaces that embrace botanical or heritage-inspired decor, and it pairs nicely with muted, earthy tones to create a cosy yet sophisticated feel. For styling tips, try layering it with textured cushions or throws in similar colours to enhance its traditional vibe, or pair it with sleek, modern furnishings for a more eclectic look. Its made-to-measure option also means you can personalise it to fit your window perfectly, ensuring a seamless finish.
