Description

William Morris had a great admiration for rivers, from the humble stream that passed by Kelmscott Manor to the great River Wandle that he used to dye his textiles at Merton Abbey. From 1883 Morris began designing a series of gently flowing patterns named after tributaries of the River Thames. The ‘Lodden’ pattern is part of this series, named after the River Loddon that flows through Berkshire and Hampshire. Pairing iconic William Morris patterns with excellent British manufacturing, our Made to Order service brings you a selection of beautiful William Morris At Home designs, with exclusive colourways to Dunelm, allowing you to create a uniquely individual look in your home. Available in both a plain and piped design, this cushion cover can be paired with our matching Made to Measure Curtains or Roman Blinds to give your home, office or commercial space a beautifully co-ordinated finish. Book an appointment with one of our expert consultants who will guide you through the process of creating your very own made to order cushion cover.

Our Stylist Says

This cushion cover is a fantastic way to add a touch of elegance and richness to any space. The velvet finish gives a luxurious feel, while the navy blue colour keeps it versatile and easy to pair with a range of colour schemes-from neutral tones to more vibrant hues. I’d suggest using it in a living room or bedroom to create a classic, sophisticated look, especially when paired with textures like linen or leather. For practical styling, combine it with neighbouring cushions in varying sizes and textures to avoid a flat appearance, and consider placing it on a plain sofa or armchair to let the detailed pattern really stand out. Its made-to-order aspect means you can tailor it to your space, ensuring a bespoke fit that elevates your interior design overall.
