Description
The Wilfred range is a great designer retro sofa in a mid-century Scandinavian style. The defined lines and solid construction lend a real air of character and style to any room. This chocolate coloured three-seater sofa gives a sense of grounded comfort. The hand-crafted wooden frame and legs give solidity to a self-assured design, which the buttoning gives a bit of cheek to stop things getting too serious.
Our Stylist Says
The Wilfred three-seater works really well in both modern and traditional interiors, thanks to its versatile shape and deep chocolate hue. I love how it can instantly add warmth and sophistication to a living space. It’s a practical choice for those looking for a comfortable, stylish staple that pairs easily with both bold and neutral colour schemes. Styling tips include contrasting it with light-toned cushions and throws for a cosy feel, or adding metallic accents and statement artworks for a more luxe vibe. Its elevated legs also help to create a sense of openness in the room, making it ideal for smaller spaces or rooms where you want a sleek, modern look.

The Inspiring Origins of Out & Out Original
In 2013, Daniel Fairburn decided to change how we buy furniture. Using his savings and a loan, he started Out & Out Original. He didn't have shops, but with the help of the internet, he showcased his furniture online. Their first sale? Two deckchairs to a man in Somerset.
They didn't have a big advertising budget, but popular magazines loved their designs and featured them. Recognition wasn't far behind, with accolades like the 'House Beautiful Gold Award for Best Furniture' under their belt within just two years.
What Makes Out & Out Original Different?
Out & Out Original believes in keeping things straightforward, from understanding furniture materials to delivery processes. Though smaller in scale compared to giants in the industry, they bring a significant amount of heart and dedication to the table.
A primary goal? Encouraging people to explore and rediscover the joy of finding the perfect piece of furniture that resonates with them. For those who seek a blend of quality, novelty, and authenticity in their buying experience, Out & Out Original promises to be a delightful discovery.
Sustainability at its Core
Recognizing the ethical duty to both their furniture makers and the environment, they prioritise responsible sourcing. For instance, instead of felling fresh trees, they lean into sustainable and reclaimed wood. Their commitment is evident in collaborations with global manufacturers, ensuring the use of locally sourced materials.
The company's association with WeForest led to the growth of 5,000 trees in the Atlantic Forest in 2020 alone. Moreover, they champion longevity, producing durable indoor furniture and encouraging the recycling of their toxin-free plastic furniture.
