Description

The leaning back and tapered legs of our Whittaker Armchair provide a smart, angular appearance. The base is formed from teak, which is wire-brushed and hand painted for an authentic weathered wood appearance. Its low-sitting slatted seat is topped with foam cushions that provide bundles of comfort, while the armrests and back are formed from aluminium, wrapped in a weather-resistant rope. Our Stylist Says

I really like the Whittaker armchair for its clean, modern silhouette combined with a warm, inviting colour. The dark cocoa finish makes it versatile enough to work in both contemporary and transitional interiors, especially when paired with neutral tones or soft textiles. It's a great statement piece for a cosy reading nook or as an accent in a living room. Practical styling tips include layering it with textured cushions or a throw in lighter shades to soften its dark tone, and positioning it near a statement side table or floor lamp to create a functional, inviting space. Its straightforward frame also lends itself well to pairing with different fabrics or accessories, making it a flexible addition to various aesthetic styles.
