Made from high-grade solid pine with thickened headboard and footboard to keep bed stable & durable. 13 extra thick slats with centre support beam to support the weight of sleeper & mattress. Full-length side panels and a simple slot in the headboard design make assembly quick and easy, with all tools fittings and instructions included in the box. Finished with a smooth non-toxic paint that protects the wood & prevents splintering. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
