I’m a big fan of this gloss-fronted shoe cabinet because it maximises storage without feeling bulky - the slim profile and reflective surface help keep a hallway or cloakroom looking light and uncluttered. It’s perfect in contemporary, Scandi or minimalist interiors but also works in transitional spaces when paired with warm timber accents or a patterned rug.
To style it, add a small tray on top for keys and post, then hang a mirror or artwork above to draw the eye upwards. Keep a pair of matching baskets or umbrella stands either side to frame the unit, and use uniform shoe boxes or dividers inside the drawers to make the most of each compartment.
