Our Stylist Says
I love this floor lamp for its bold, sculptural presence and its sleek, modern aesthetic. The cone shape combined with the textured, spherical top makes it a statement piece that works particularly well in contemporary and industrial-inspired interiors. It’s versatile enough to sit confidently in living rooms, reading corners, or even in minimalist office settings. For styling tips, consider pairing it with minimalist furniture to let its distinctive shape stand out, or use it as an anchor piece next to a neutral sofa for added visual interest. The lamp’s metallic finish reflects light beautifully, so placing it where it can interact with natural daylight or layered lighting will enhance its effect. Overall, a functional yet stylish addition to any space that calls for a bit of modern edge.

About Tom Dixon
From Bass Guitar to Design Guru
Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.
But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.
Master of Materials
Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.
Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.
His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.
More Than Just Products
Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.
From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
