Our Stylist Says

The WestWood globe-shaped mini bar is a fun and functional piece that adds a playful twist to traditional drinks storage. I love how it combines practicality with a distinctive design statement, making it ideal for eclectic or vintage-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in spaces with warm tones or natural textures, such as wood or leather furnishings. To style it, consider pairing it with some vintage glassware and bottles to enhance its retro charm, or use it as a conversational focal point in a casual lounge or compact dining area. Practical tips include placing it in a corner where it can be a feature without taking up too much space, and keeping some colourful or decorative accessories nearby to create an inviting bar setup.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
