Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this grey desk-with-shelves for its clean lines and space-saving design. It works equally well in a Scandi-inspired study or an industrial loft - the neutral grey allows you to introduce pops of colour through accessories. The shelving units make it easy to keep reference books, storage baskets or art-led stationery within arm’s reach without cluttering the desktop. For styling, try grouping objects in uneven stacks (two books topped with a small pot plant, for example) and use woven or fabric baskets on the lower shelves to hide cables and office essentials. Position it near a window to maximise natural light, then add a sleek desk lamp, a minimal pen cup and a slim photo frame to keep the surface functional yet visually appealing.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
