Description

Named after the house that designer Robin Day moved to in 1999, the West Street Chair is accented with black leather and oak accents and was created with a focus on designing a chair with the simplest form possible. Based on a simple cube shape, the West Street Chair was designed by Day is a pared-down piece with clean lines and angles. Softened by its upholstery, the Robin Day West Street Chair has two black leather pads, one as a seat and the other an angled backrest. Showcasing a solid oak frame, the West Street Chair was designed by Robin Day exclusively for Case and is manufactured by them today to the same exacting standards as the original specifications.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chair’s clean lines and versatile materials, making it a practical yet stylish choice for a variety of interiors. The combination of leather and oak gives it a classic yet modern feel, perfect for contemporary, Scandinavian, or even minimalist schemes. It works well as a statement piece in a dining room, but can also double up as a stylish desk chair in a home office. To style it effectively, consider pairing with a wooden or Scandinavian-inspired dining table, and add soft textiles like cushions or padded runners for extra comfort and visual softness. Its neutral colour palette makes it easy to blend with both bold or subdued colour schemes, offering flexibility for different interior styles.
