The 2 to Marylebone. Against the backdrop of the imposing St Luke's Church. West Norwood is now home to me, and I wanted to illustrate an 'everyday slice of life scene' in this leafy suburb of Lambeth. I also love an old routemaster bus, bringing back a bit of nostalgia into the illustration. Spot the cheeky fox!
I love the West Norwood London print for its bold, graphic style and vibrant colours, which can really bring a pop of personality to an interior. It works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic spaces, adding a sense of London’s urban energy. For practical styling, consider framing it with a wide mat to give it prominence on a wall, and it pairs nicely with minimalist furniture to let the artwork stand out. This print’s A3 size makes it versatile, suitable for hanging above a sideboard or in a gallery wall arrangement. It’s a great piece to inject some city spirit into living rooms, hallways, or even home offices.
