I’m a fan of the sand-upholstered Boerum chair for its clean lines and gentle curve - it feels comfortable without looking bulky. The neutral tone and light oak legs make it a natural fit in Scandi, contemporary or pared-back traditional schemes, and the solid wood frame gives it practical durability for daily use. For styling, pair it with a pale or waxed oak table and a simple runner to keep the look fresh. Add a softly textured cushion or a small sheepskin draped over the back for extra warmth in cooler months. It also works well mixed with a darker dining stool at each end to introduce subtle contrast.

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
