I’m a fan of this grey-wood, single-drawer console (let’s call it the Wesson console) because its slim profile and turned legs bring just enough detail without overwhelming a space. It sits neatly in an entrance hall or behind a sofa, offering a handy catch-all drawer for keys and post plus a lower shelf for baskets or shoes.
Styling tips: pair it with a round mirror above to soften the straight lines, add a simple lamp and a couple of ceramics in varying heights, and tuck a woven basket underneath for magazines or scarves. The muted grey finish works well with coastal, Scandi or modern-farmhouse schemes - just introduce natural textures and brass or black-metal accents to complete the look.
