Our Stylist Says
I love how this welcome doormat offers a bold, contemporary feel with its striking black and red colour scheme. It's versatile enough to suit a range of interiors, from modern and minimalistic to more eclectic or industrial styles. To style it effectively, place it at the entrance of a neutral-toned hallway or porch to make it stand out, while keeping surrounding accessories simple to let the doormat be the focal point. For practicality, pairing it with a slim storage bench or a coat stand nearby helps create a welcoming yet functional entryway. Its playful message adds character without overwhelming the space, making it a great introductory piece for both family homes and guest-ready entrances.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
