Awash with energy ‘Tigers Eye’ inspires a welcoming aesthetic. A full-bodied yellow carefully crafted to reflect the striking shade found in a historical document from the archive. The brave can use this colour to open up smaller spaces and frame feature areas. Highly opaque and low sheen, the eggshell paint finish offers a fresh, enduring quality. All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Primer. Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly before applying a pre-coat of Water/Acrylic Based Primer Undercoat. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960’s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. Stir well. Easy to apply by brush or roller. Seal absorbent surfaces with a coat of Acrylic Eggshell thinned up to 10% with clean water. If more than one can of a colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Do not apply in temperatures below 10˚C. Touch dry in 1 - 2 hours. Recoatable after 2 - 4 hours. The Zoffany Acrylic Eggshell paint is suitable for interior & exterior use, on wood, metal and plaster. Also suitable for use on wallboards, concrete, cement rendering, brickwork and blockwork in internal situations. Approximately 12 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface.
