Our Stylist Says

I really like this walnut TV stand-it offers a sleek, contemporary look with its rich wood finish, making it versatile for modern or Scandinavian-inspired interiors. Its 150cm width provides plenty of space for TVs up to 65", while the added wall shelf creates a practical area for decorative items or media accessories, helping to keep your surfaces clutter-free. Styling tips include layering a few curated accessories like minimalist vases or picture frames on top, and keeping the open shelves organised with baskets or magazines for a tidy appearance. This piece works particularly well in living rooms with neutral tones or subtle colour palettes, but it can also add warmth to more eclectic spaces when paired with textured accessories and greenery.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
