Description

The Wallace Outdoor Wall Light is guaranteed to make a stylish and practical addition to your outdoor lighting set up. This light is a modern take on the classic lantern design and comes in a sleek black finish for an urban aesthetic to the outside of your home. It also features a useful PIR sensor which detects movement outside your home and instantly triggers the light, acting as an added security feature.

Our Stylist Says

This wall light is a smart choice for adding functional, modern appeal to outdoor spaces. I love its sleek black finish which works beautifully with contemporary and minimalist exteriors, while the PIR sensor makes it both practical and energy-efficient by activating only when needed. It pairs well with materials like concrete, metal, or painted render for a streamlined look. For styling tips, position it near doorways, paths, or garden features to highlight key areas without overwhelming the space. Keep the surrounding lighting simple to let this piece stand out, and consider placing it alongside other black or metal fixtures to create a cohesive, modern outdoor aesthetic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
