I’m a big fan of this floating bedside unit because it keeps floors clear and feels lighter than a freestanding cabinet, which is perfect for smaller rooms or a minimalist scheme. The crisp white finish and pared-back profile suit Scandi, modern classic or even coastal interiors - just swap the knobs for brass or timber ones to tweak the look.
Styling tip: mount it so the top sits about 60-65 cm above the floor, level with most mattress heights. Keep the surface clutter-free - a slim bedside lamp, a single bud vase or small stack of books works well. Use the drawers for chargers, notepads or sleep-aids, and if you want to introduce texture, layer a woven basket or wall-hung fabric pocket alongside.
