This wall-mounted display cabinet combines practical storage with elegant vintage styling. Featuring two clear glass doors with brass knobs and black hinges, it protects contents from dust while allowing full visibility. Inside, four tempered glass shelves are fully adjustable—positioned using 12 pre-drilled holes on each side panel—to accommodate items of varying heights, from model cars and planes to spice jars, glassware, or cosmetics. Below the cabinet, four sturdy brass double hooks provide convenient hanging space for keys, headphones, small bags, or kitchen utensils. The cabinet is constructed from durable MDF with a smooth UV-painted dark finish and includes an integrated LED light bar (visible when doors are open) to highlight displayed items. Pre-installed metal hangers on the top enable quick, secure wall mounting on solid walls or drywall (mounting hardware included). With a compact depth of just 5.3 inches, it fits neatly in hallways, living rooms, kitchens, studies, or bedrooms without protruding into walkways. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
