Description

Designed by Inga Sempé for Wästberg, the w153 Île lamp in a sky blue hue pays homage to the multifunctional diversity of clamp lamps. Seen by the designer as an underappreciated, underexplored form, the clamp lamp is transformed to create the w153 Île, which uses highly energy-efficient multi-chip LED technology to ensure bright emanations, while its broad, movable shade rests on a magnetic ball joint, allowing smooth adjustment of light. The w153 Île lamp can be wall-mounted, clamped to tables and surfaces and has a flat base, allowing it to alternatively stand anywhere you wish. This versatile design is perfect for lighting corners, or grouped together to enhance a contemporary space. Please note: This lamp requires one integrated LED bulb maximum 7W (included).

Our Stylist Says

I love the W153 Île lamp for its sleek, modern take on functional lighting. The sky blue hue adds a subtle pop of colour without overwhelming a space, making it ideal for contemporary interiors or minimalist schemes. It works particularly well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even a well-curated home office, where it can serve as both a statement piece and a practical light source. For styling tips, consider placing it on a side table or a desk with other pared-back accessories to highlight its sculptural form, or use it to bring a touch of colour and personality to neutral, monochrome environments. Its simple yet distinctive shape is a streamlined way to add character to any room.
