Description
PLEASE NOTE: cushion cover sold on its own (filling sold separately). The Vuosirenkaat motif is the work of Finnish illustrator Tytti Laitakari. This print is inspired by the coats of striped animals as well as architectural forms from Morocco. While she was drawing the design, shapes resembling tree rings also appeared - symbolically representing the long history of the Marimekko design house which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2021. Chic and graphic, the collection of textiles designed by Marimekko brings new life to your interior! Created in 1951, Marimekko is a state of mind, a way of life based on creativity, freedom of spirit and inventiveness. Its notoriety dates back to 1960, the year in which Jackie Kennedy made several public appearances in dresses designed by Marimekko. The brand went on to enjoy enormous success, which continues today with a range of clothing and decorative accessories in vibrant colours, for a house full of inspiration!.
