Description

This roller blind features a painterly print of meadow flowers. As it's a blackout blind it eliminates light and gives complete privacy so you can get a sound night's sleep and not be disturbed by the early rising sun in the summer months. Child safety For safety, we recommend that you move beds, cots and furniture away from any window fitted with a blind that has a side control mechanism, even with a safety device in place. Your blind will come with a double-breakaway child safety device on the chain. This is designed to come apart when too much pressure is applied. You can simply reconnect the chain should this happen. If your measurements don't allow for a breakaway chain we'll include a P-clip with your order instead. The clip allows you to safely secure the chain to your wall, which you can see in the above images. If this is the case for your order we'll always call you before fulfilling your order so you're aware. Please make sure you understand the information on our before placing your order. Made by us at our textile factory in Lancashire Since 1953, our expert Partners have designed and manufactured a range of high-quality textiles at our UK factory, Herbert Parkinson. This includes our naturally filled bedding and Made to Measure service for curtains, blinds and cushions. Combining traditional handmade processes with state-of-the-art technology, our skilled Partners see each product through the entire creation process, ensuring it meets the design and quality standards we're known for. We want you to be as proud of it as we are. In need of something more bespoke? Whatever shape window you have our Partners at Herbert Parkinson will give it a go. So even if you have an apex or arch window we can make a curtain or blind to fit your requirements. We can also make a pelmet if you're looking to cover your pole or track. Pop into any of our branches and we'll be happy to discuss what we can do for you.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Voyage Hinton blackout blind for its versatility and practical appeal. Its deep black-out functionality makes it ideal for bedrooms or media rooms where light control is essential, while the floral fabric adds a touch of softness to more neutral or contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in schemes that mix modern with subtle vintage touches, thanks to its understated pattern and colour palette. For styling, consider pairing this blind with muted or pastel colours on walls and soft furnishings to let the floral fabric stand out, or use it in a room with layered textures like woven throws or linen cushions for a relaxed, cohesive look. It's a smart choice that balances practicality with understated charm.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
