Folded, colorful metal furniture and lighting! Dobrar means "to fold" in Portuguese, because the aim of Sacha Wolf, founder of the Atelier Dobra brand, is to design furniture and lighting fixtures in steel without any welding, using only a Toy of folding and interlocking. Atelier Dobra's eco-friendly creations are carefully crafted in Portugal, in small local companies around Lisbon. Atelier Dobra uses eco-responsible materials and processes: the steel is 100% infinitely recyclable and the electrostatic powder paint is solvent-free and loss-free. The clean, ultra-graphic geometric shapes are inspired by the lines of Bahaus, Calder's mobiles and Miro's work. The fresh, contrasting color palette is characteristic of this collection, which brings cheerfulness into the home. These cheerful, contemporary designs breathe joie de vivre! The Volta Wall light has a linear geometric shape, both retro and futuristic. It diffuses soft indirect light around its oval shape. Its double-finned system allows light to be directed and subdued. The Volta Wall light is supplied flat-packed: the 2 tongues are folded by hand to give shape to the wall plate housing the 2 flywheels. Includes: Esse 14 wall socket and LED tube Bulb.
