Volcano Paradise is a bold yet elegant ikat design in fiery pink with contrast piping in ticking stripe, Savannah Paradise. Handmade in the UK and filled with sustainably sourced duck feather and down. Whilst every effort is made to make all cushions identical in pattern placement some will vary due to large pattern repeat of the Volcano fabric. The Volcano Paradise fabric used in this design is printed on the edge of the Lake District using ECOFAST technology, a digital pigment printing method which uses 50% less water than traditional techniques.
This cushion, a bold choice from Andrew Martin, is perfect for injecting a pop of colour and pattern into a neutral or contemporary setting. Its vibrant pink and ivory pattern makes it ideal for living rooms or bedrooms with a modern or eclectic vibe, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space. I love pairing it with muted textiles or plain furnishings to let the pattern stand out, and it works well as a statement piece on a sofa or bed. Practical styling tips include mixing with other textures - think velvet or linen - and ensuring the cushion is plump to maximise its visual impact. Plus, the sustainable feather filling means it’s an eco-conscious choice that doesn’t compromise on comfort.
