An extension of our Vivienne range, this swivel armchair takes its inspiration from the 1960s-inspired interiors of White City House. Upholstered in a cotton velvet fabric, pleated stitch detailing to the back of the chair makes it a versatile piece to sit in any area of the living room while adding a tactile point of interest. The oversized curved shape is an elevated take on the classic tub armchair, created for cozy, conversational moments in mind. I’m a big fan of the Vivienne chair in antique rose for its soft velvet finish and curving silhouette, which adds just the right dose of warmth without overpowering a scheme. It works equally well in a pared-back Scandi setting - paired with light woods and neutral tones - as it does in a more maximalist, boho-inspired space where jewel-toned textiles and layered rugs come into play. For styling, I’d position it next to a slimline side table in brass or black metal to balance its plush form, and add a simple linen cushion in a contrasting hue (think deep teal or charcoal). Keep surrounding décor minimal to let the chair hold centre stage, or echo its blush tone in a throw or small accent pieces for a cohesive feel.
