I’m a big fan of this velvet bar stool for its scalloped back and slim brass-accented legs - it adds a touch of modern glamour without feeling over the top. The plush black upholstery works equally well in a streamlined monochrome kitchen, an Art Deco-inspired breakfast bar or even a moody, industrial loft when paired with darker timber and metal accents.
For styling, use at least three around a quartz-topped island to create balance, and echo the brass detail elsewhere with matching light fittings or a statement mirror frame. Keep textiles simple - a low-profile runner on the floor and minimal clutter on the worktop will let the stool’s shape and finish really stand out.
