I always reach for the Eames armchair in cotton white and maple - it’s my go-to when I need a blend of comfort and simplicity. The clean lines and natural timber legs sit beautifully in Scandi-inspired living rooms, pared-back home offices or even a pared-down dining area.
For a practical touch, add a slim wool seat pad or a neutral linen cushion to break up the moulded shell. It also works well in a mixed-up dining set, where the warm wood contrasts against a darker table top. Keep surrounding accessories minimal - a single potted plant or a sculptural desk lamp is all you need to let the chair shine.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
