I often recommend the Eames armchair in pale rose for its blend of sculptural form and everyday practicality - the integrated arms and taller “New Height” shell make it ideal at a standing-height desk or around a breakfast bar. The powder-coated dark base grounds the soft hue, so it slots straight into Scandi-influenced kitchens or pared-back office corners. For styling, add a neutral linen cushion or a small wool throw to soften the shell, then team with a slimline side table or a cluster of potted plants to create an inviting spot for work or coffee.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
