The Woolacombe Supreme 2000 range of mattreses from Vispring are upolstered exclusively in layers of sumptuous wool and feature a pocketed Vanadium steel spring system. Handmade in Plymouth with a total of 2000 pocket springs in the king size model, this range offers indulgent and supple support each night and a medium tension level of comfort. Natural Materials Designed with durable wool layers and hand-teased British wool that's naturally insulating and fire retardant, this mattress delivers a luxuriously comfortable feel. Natural materials absorb humidity throughout the night so that you feel cool and comfortable, while ensuring that your sleep environment stays hygienic. Vanadium Steel Pocket Springs This support system is designed with hand-nested springs in a honeycomb formation, to offer tailored, responsive and effective support for your entire body. Enveloped by the natural fillings, pocket springs also help to maintain the structure of your mattress. Three rows of hand side-stitching and cotton felt tufts lend a premium finish. Bed Base A Vispring hand upholstered sprung divan is the preferred base for a Vispring mattress. These divans are manufactured by carefully nesting vanadium pocket springs in a solid timber frame, creating a responsive layer that works in harmony with the mattress above. If you are using your mattress on a bedstead, please ensure that the gaps between the slats of the base are no more than 7.5cm (3”) apart. This ensures that the springs in the mattress are properly supported. Vispring recommend the use of a Vispring mattress pad, this will serve as a protective layer between your mattress and the base of your bedstead. The mattress pad will prolong the life of your mattress when it is used on a slatted base, as it will prevent indentations and protect against moisture from wooden slats. A mattress pad is required to comply with the 30-year guarantee on any Vispring mattress that has been placed on a slatted base.
