The hand-tufted, pocket sprung mattresses pamper you with all natural fillings including platinum certified British fleece wool and soft fleece wool from Devon farms. There’s something very indulgent about the British-made Vispring Devonshire divan set. The handcrafted pocket spring mattress promises cosy comfort that maintains its shape for years to come. That’s largely due to the all-wool fillings – British fleece wool and hand-teased Devonshire fleece wool – and to the 1326 vanadium steel pocket springs, in king size, hand-nested in calico pockets. Hand tufted with felt washers, this 21 cm mattress is finished with a fine ticking and has horizontal handles and air vents. Its borders are upholstered with protective wool and have two rows of hand side stitching. The accompanying divan base has a timber frame and 600 hand-nested pocket springs in king size. It’s filled with both softly and heavily needed British fleece wool. It’s available with optional storage drawers and in a wide range of upholstery fabrics. Shown here in. The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress).
