Description

Exhibiting clean modern lines, the Ceres headboard is finished with a tactile faux suede in a versatile and luxurious colourway. Its elegant rectangular design, with deeply upholstered paneling and vertical piped detailing, will effortlessly complete your bedroom scheme. Handmade in Plymouth, England, it features a fire retardant liner, giving you peace of mind. The four wooden struts are simply secured to the back of your divan with eight individual bolts, so you can easily transform your space without any hassle. This headboard makes the perfect accompaniment to Vispring's De Luxe 600 or Prestige 950 divan set, available to purchase separately.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Ceres Headboard for its clean, modern lines and versatile design, making it an excellent statement piece for contemporary or minimalist interiors. Its understated style works well with neutral palettes and can be dressed up with textured bedding or decorative cushions for added interest. This headboard pairs particularly well in bedrooms with a calm, streamlined aesthetic, but it can also serve as a chic backdrop in eclectic schemes. Practical styling tips include placing it against a painted or feature wall to highlight its shape, and adding bedside lamps or artwork to personalise the space. Its size and shape make it perfect for a super king bed, anchoring the room without overwhelming it.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
