Description
All materials are hypoallergenic so ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers. High density impact foam for support. Double sided. Vacum packed and rolled. UK made. Reflex foam is an innovative and pliable material that easily springs back into shape. Constructed from a medium to firm, high-density polyurethane foam, the material is very similar to memory foam, but features larger bubbles. Imagine a balloon filled with water. When pressure is applied to theses bubbles the air doesn't escape, and instead is displaced sideways. Once pressure is relieved, the bubbles spring back into shape and the balloon regains its shape, just like a reflex mattress. It's for this reason that the reflex foam is popular as an orthopaedic mattress, as it offers a firm yet comfortable feel. Malleable yet durable, the spongey material offers a bounce back quality similar to memory foam, but without that sinking feeling. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
