Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Visby chair for its clean lines and durable cotton-stripe fabric - the midnight-blue banding brings a fresh, tailored feel without looking too formal. It suits both coastal and country-style schemes as well as more contemporary living rooms, and its generous seat depth makes it a practical choice for reading nooks or snug corners. For styling, layer a neutral linen cushion and a soft throw in contrasting texture, then flank it with a simple wooden side table or a slim metal lamp to keep the look light. If you’re working in a pale palette, the blue stripes will offer just enough contrast, while in darker interiors it will add a crisp, graphic touch.
