Resembling a musical note on a score, Gam. Fratesi's Violin Dining Chair for GUBI is a masterclass in theatrical yet functional design. The supportive, half-armed chair exhibits a strong silhouette with a minimalist powder-coated steel profile, walnut back and elegantly tapered legs. Part-upholstered in Gabriel's Tempt fabric, the 100% polyester composition is best suited for soft seating. Founded in 2006 by architects Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, the award-winning Copenhagen-based design house takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal, drawing on both designers' experiences of Danish and Italian craft traditions. Renowned for applying an experimental approach to every project, Gam Fratesi awards each design with a visible historical context and unique, fresh aesthetic.
