Our Stylist Says
The viola desk strikes a practical yet stylish balance with its light walnut and white finish, making it versatile for a range of interiors-from Scandi-inspired schemes to contemporary office settings. I love how the clean lines and dual-tone design bring a fresh, modern feel without overpowering a space. Its compact size and integrated cabinet make it ideal for small home offices or tucked-away study nooks, offering both functionality and a streamlined look. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with minimalist organisational accessories or a simple desk lamp to maintain a clutter-free workspace. Adding cosy textiles or plants nearby can soften the look and inject a touch of personality, making your home working environment both practical and inviting.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
