Description

Add a touch of timeless charm to your decor with our Vintage Ceramic Vase in Cream, a classic and elegant piece that exudes nostalgia. The vintage-inspired design and creamy hue create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect centrepiece or standalone accent. Serving as a decorative focal point this ceramic vase offers a beautiful rustic theme to any home and looks ideal within neutral colour schemes.

Our Stylist Says

This vintage style ceramic vase is a versatile piece that works particularly well in both rustic and contemporary settings. I love how its creamy, textured finish adds an instant touch of character and warmth, making it ideal for a neutral or minimalist colour scheme. It’s perfect for displaying dried arrangements or single stems, which can add height and interest without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include placing it on a sideboard or mantle for visual balance, or grouping it with other textured accessories to enhance its vintage charm. Its understated elegance makes it a timeless addition to various interiors, from farmhouse to modern.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
