Description

The classic vintage designer rug Amara by Tectake impresses with its elegant shaggy-chic look, bringing a cosy atmosphere to any bedroom, dining room, kitchen or home office. With its subtle ceramic blue-inspired pattern, it effortlessly blends into almost any interior style and will complement the appearance of your living, bedroom, or dining room. The large vintage-looking designer rug Amara by Tectake becomes a real highlight in any room. Compared with other more shaggy rugs the short-pile fabric made of robust synthetic wool is machine washable and is perfect for allergy sufferers. Plus the rug has a non-slip underside, so it always stays securely in place available in your perfect size, the rug brings both charm and elegance to your home.

Our Stylist Says

This rug is a versatile choice for anyone looking to add subtle colour and texture to a room. I love how the faded design gives it a slightly vintage feel, making it suitable for both contemporary and more classic interiors. Its machine-washable feature makes it practical for busy households or spaces prone to spillages, while the non-slip backing adds safety without the need for an additional underlay. It works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallways, especially paired with neutral or muted tones to let the blue really stand out. For styling, consider layering it with textured cushions or throws in complementary shades to create a cosy yet stylish vibe.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
