Description

Who invented the cuckoo clock is still a mistery to this day, but it is thought that the first ones were crafted in the Black Forest area of southwestern Germany around the middle of the 18th century and quickly spread and became popular for the quality and beauty of their craftsmanship. Now you can enhance the look of your room with our vintage looking cuckoo clock as it matches with any type of elegant and classic home decor. Made from high quality plastic it perfectly imitates the traditional style of handcrafted woodwork, it features a swinging pendulum and a cuckoo bird that will sing every hour, also the clock has a quartz mechanism operated on batteries with a clear and easy to read analogue time display. This product can easily be attached directly to the walls with just a screw. Cuckoo bird pops out and sings once every hour from 7am to 9pm. Swinging pendulum is included.

Our Stylist Says

I love this vintage-style cuckoo clock for its rich, warm brown tones and classic design. It works particularly well in traditional or rustic interiors, adding an instant focal point with its craftsmanship and nostalgic charm. Styling tips include positioning it on a feature wall in a living room or hallway, paired with wood accents or vintage furnishings to enhance its timeless appeal. Keep the surrounding décor relatively simple to let the clock stand out, and consider balancing its bold presence with softer textures or neutral colours elsewhere in the space. It's a practical piece that adds both character and function, perfect for creating a cosy, inviting atmosphere.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
