Our Stylist Says
I love this check half curtain for its timeless, classic appeal, making it a versatile choice across both traditional and country-style interiors. The dark green hue adds a rich, cosy touch without overwhelming the space, and the check pattern offers a subtle visual texture that complements wooden or neutral tones well. It’s particularly effective in kitchens, cottage bedrooms, or as a stylish window dressing over blinds or net curtains. For styling tips, consider pairing it with wooden curtain poles or tiebacks in natural fibres to enhance the vintage vibe, and keep the rest of the decor simple to let the pattern be the focal point. Its practical length is perfect for adding privacy while still allowing plenty of natural light to filter through.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
