Description

The Vince walnut small TV stand with 1 door is a contemporary design with a slight nod to the 50s, characterised by its clean lines and slender legs. A handle-less door and cable management in the unit's back panel maintain a streamlined appearance, while its cupboard and shelves provide generous storage for equipment and accessories. Part of the Vince furniture range, exclusive to Habitat and also available in oak, the unit is made from oiled solid walnut and walnut veneer, and its compact footprint makes it perfect for smaller spaces.

Our Stylist Says

I love this walnut TV stand for its clean lines and versatile design, making it a great addition to both contemporary and mid-century inspired interiors. Its warm walnut finish adds richness and texture to any room, while the single door provides a neat solution for hiding clutter or media accessories. It works particularly well in living rooms with a relaxed, minimalist vibe or in more eclectic spaces that highlight natural materials. Practical styling tips include layering with a few decorative books or plants on top, and using the open shelf for tech gadgets or favourite ornaments to keep everything within reach yet organised. Its slightly tapered legs also give it a subtle retro touch that can effortlessly complement other vintage or modern pieces.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
