Petite Friture and French designer Constance Guisset have signed a new chapter with Vertigo NOVA. This version features a central glass globe with state-of-the-art LED technology, providing soft, gentle lighting. Vertigo Nova takes up the codes that have made the classic Vertigo pendant so successful: large size, movement, lightness, graphics and elegance. Its special feature: powerful, dimmable LED technology for excellent diffusion. The central diffuser is made of White opaline glass for brilliant luminosity and a light-filled interior. Vertigo Nova magnifies light: as well as providing functional, even illumination, when switched on it projects an attractive shadow pattern onto the surrounding walls. Vertigo Nova is made up of flexible polyurethane ribbons hand-stretched over a fine fiberglass structure. It floats freely in space, quivering in the breeze. Like a cape, its mysterious, enveloping form suggests a space of intimacy. A veritable "Den lamp", it defines an almost transparent graphic space, as if suspended between floor and ceiling... This lamp-sculpture intrigues with its line and movement, and seduces with its allure. Designer Constance Guisset: ''Vertigo Nova was born out of a desire to work with the object's light to soften and graduate it. The technical part of the lamp is now encased in Glass. The Lamp's function is sublimated to reveal only the essential, a flying tablecloth between two waters, light and delicate. ''Since 2010, the Vertigo collection has been produced in France, by hand, in the workshops of APF France Handicap, where 30 people manufacture most of the lighting collections published by Petite Friture with the precision of a goldsmith.
