Luminous thought, illuminated meditation. A lamp as much as a contemporary work of art, this surrealist light sculpture is the work of the young Italian designer Gio Tirotto. This table lamp represents steps that lead nowhere, suspended in the void. A small figurine of a man is sitting on the steps, seeming pensive. This magnetic figurine is removable: it can be positioned anywhere on the steps. A symbolic evocation of movement, of an ascent both physical and spiritual, Verso occupies the space of its strong and poetic presence. The Verso lamp is not just aesthetic: it is also very functional. The integrated LED source under the entire length of the staircase provides high-performance, warm lighting. Once the Verso is lit, a nice play of shadow and light draws the outline of the steps for a highly architectural effect. The sensitive dimmer located on the base means you can adapt the light intensity to suit what you’re doing.
I love the Verso LED table lamp for its sleek, modern design with a playful twist-thanks to the magnetic figurine element. Its minimalistic silhouette in grey makes it versatile, fitting well within contemporary or industrial interiors, yet it also adds a subtle edge to more eclectic spaces. Styling-wise, it works well on bedside tables, desks or as an accent piece on open shelving. For practicality, try pairing it with neutral-toned peripherals or with a pop of colour nearby to highlight its graphic silhouette. Keep it simple to let the lamp itself become a statement, or add some decorative magnets for a personalised touch.
